“LeVar Burton Reads,” the hit Stitcher podcast, returns for a third season July 24. The beloved “Reading Rainbow” host will help even more millennial adults tick one more item off their bucket lists, when their childhood hero reads reads them a bedtime (or anytime) story.
Burton just wrapped up a live reading tour, covered by outlets like Los Angeles Magazine, building even more awareness and excited anticipation for the new season.
“LeVar Burton Reads” appeals to a very desirable audience of “unreachables.” Listeners are majority female (65%), millennial (58% 18 – 34), and college educated (77%). Moreover, 91% subscribe to premium OTT video services, like Netflix, and 68% say they often or always ignore TV ads, while 70% ignore digital ads. But, 84% say they pay attention to podcast ads.
