Walt Mossberg’s New Podcast Joins the Midroll Line-Up

We recently added three fresh shows from Vox Media, home to authoritative tech properties like The Verge, Polygon, and Re/code.

The most anticipated show is Ctrl-Walt-Delete, hosted by Walt Mossberg, the dean of technology reviewing. He headed up the widely-respected AllThingsD for the Wall Street Journal, and then started Re/code in 2014. Launched on October 1, Ctrl-Walt-Delete also features Verge editor-in-chief Nilay Patel.

The next two are monthly shows from Polygon, Vox’s gaming site.

  • Polygon Longform delivers audiobook-style readings of Polygon’s signature feature stories, helping busy gamers and industry pros keep up on the industry wherever they are. Each is a thoughtful and well-researched investigation into video games, the artists who make them, the fans who love them, and the culture surrounding them.
  • Polygon Wireframe is not your typical tech or gaming podcast. The show features well-produced, in-depth discussions with the creative people who make the things we love. The first episode, released in October, highlights game music composer Peter McConnell, framed by a exploration of stories and narrative structure.
