Stitcher CEO Erik Diehn on Yahoo Finance: Advertisers Turning to Podcasts

Stitcher CEO Erik Diehn told Yahoo Finance’s Alexis Christoforous that podcasting is “the perfect medium for an on-the-go generation, for people who are multitasking all the time.”

“There’s now data that a huge number of Americans are listening,” he explained, “and brands and advertisers have taken notice.” In particular, “major consumer brands” have moved into the medium.
