The critically acclaimed “The Butterfly Effect with Jon Ronson” just started its free ad-supported run with Midroll. This seven-part series comes to us from Audible, where it debuted in August.

In this case, it’s the story of how a German teen obsessed with free pornography went on to acquire a Montreal-based YouTube-style porn site, in turn affecting the entire pornography industry, altering the lives of those working within it.
Though it tackles adult subject matter, the Financial Times says, “There’s nothing salacious or judgmental about the reporting here.” Slate says that it’s “like the finale of the story begun by HBO’s ‘The Deuce.’”
